M.A.S.K. Returns in Comic Form

CaptureIDW Publishing is wielding a new weapon in their arsenal of 80s toons-turned-comics. The Graphic Novel publisher has recently announced their intention to publish a new series based on M.A.S.K. – your favorite cartoon from childhood!

In their announcement, they had this to say:

The fans have spoken and so by popular demand, M.A.S.K. will hit comic shops later this year from the creative team of writer Brandon Easton (Marvel’s Agent Carter, Transformers: Deviations) and artist Tony Vargas (Rot & Ruin, TMNT: Shadows of the Past Board Game).

IDW has made a name for itself by publishing materials geared toward adults in their 30s looking to relive their childhood memories. IDW has garnered respect from fans by giving credit to the original source materials in titles like GI Joe and Transformers. Their Transformers: Combiner Wars series was epic and stayed true to the characters’ personas. So I’m excited to see M.A.S.K. take shape when they debut it this November.
